It's been reported that the boys from Beginnings have been seen in various rehearsal studios in the area working in secret on a new show for 2012 audiences. Sources have revealed that this new show will be one featuring more of Chicago's top-ten hits that are love songs and ballads. The working title "Songs From The Heart: A Chicago Tribute For Lovers" has been heard being whispered about as the boys were packing up after a recent work session. An anonymous inside source has been quoted as saying, "The boys have no intention on abandoning their current mind-blowing tribute show. Any new show that may or may not arise will be in addition to their current live offering." Can one assume that this show will be ready for an early Valentine's Day 2012 release? Only time will tell!

WOW!!! What a night at Kodiak's! Last Saturday night at Kodiak's in Farmingdale was the most fun we have had in a long time! It was a night of classic favorites and fresh new cuts; a night full of old friends (especially our friends from Desert Highway and Completely Unchained) and lots of new ones!
We can't wait to come back! Stay tuned!

Last night's show at the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center by far was the highlight of our season! We want to thank everyone of you for coming out and making this a wonderful evening!
The staff at the DHPAC are second to none, their integrity and professionalism always makes us feel warm and fuzzy!
Our "meet and greet" after the show, was the icing on the cake with all the love we received from the incredible audience!
It was great meeting all the NEW faces, and we hope to see you all very soon!

Yes Yes Yes! Once again a great time was had by all in The Theater at Westbury Friday night April 8th! As we rolled in to our sound check, it was like old school day seeing all our friends from each of the other bands. Our dressing room was the same as our other 2 performances and the crew, well, the crew are second to none! We were 3rd to sound check because we were 2nd to go on. Then to a great Barry Brown smorgasbord of Italian delights, followed by a high level Beginnings belching session to eliminate any acquired gasses from the garlic laden food. As Big Shot hit the stage, we turned on the Met game to ease our souls and to remind ourselves how lucky we are to be playing music! Soon our dressing room was over flowing with band mates, stage techs and well wishes. Big Shot done, high fives for everyone, then the moment we've all been waiting for, "Beginnings, five minutes". One of the most exciting elements of Westbury, is standing in the dome of Stars waiting for your cue to hit the stage, the ghosts of all that have stood there waiting, Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Vanilla Fudge, Ringo Star, George Carlin, my God the list goes on and on! As we peak through the curtain down the long aisle watching the crew set the stage for us, you can't help but realize that we have been now added to that long list! The girl with the headset barks, "Beginnings, they are ready for you", then Maria Milito from Q103 " Are you ready Westbury? Let's hear it for BEGINNINGS!" At this point the front of house (FOH) mixer hits our intro CD as we make our way down the long ramp to the stage! My loving guitar tech Joe Pollari dresses me with my instrument, Bobby Donaghy eyeballed the drums and bass rig, we look at each other, laugh, and hit the down beat. There is nothing quite as exciting as looking at your brothers on stage, scanning the audience's smiling faces and playing the music you love! We did manage to squeeze two standing O's before we made it through the hand shakes and back smacks to our dressing room. All and all, the stage sound was pretty good considering how hard it was for the monitor mixer to do 4 bands. It was a very successful evening and for all you folks that were at the show, you might have noticed Ed Leone was wearing one of his custom paisley flowered shirts which will soon be offered on our web site! There are times in a bands life when they believe they've reached the summit...This is yet another Beginning! Let's keep this blog going. Add your thought!

The band had another great rehearsal (at Walt's place) the other night getting everything ready for this year's show at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on April 8.
Everyone can look forward to all the familiar Chicago hits we've played in past Westbury shows, in addition to brand new material we've added just this year! I still can't believe everything we've packed into this year's show! It's going to be phenomenal! Make sure you can say you were there!
Go to http://www.livenation.com to pick up your tickets NOW before they're all gone!
